Elspeth completes new painting

"So They Brought Their Little Children" by Elspeth Young

Elspeth just put the finishing touches on her painting So They Brought Their Little Children, depicting a mother and young child from the Savior's ministry to the Nephites, described in The Book of Mormon.  This original oil painting is the 18th in the Studio's Messiah Collection.  Here's a glimpse of the finished image.  The painting will cure for a couple of months before a final layer of wax is applied as a protective finish akin to varnish.
