New painting features forgiveness


The Miracle Of Forgiveness by Al R. Based on John 8:2-11, the image features the moment of forgiveness granted to the woman taken in adultery.  The Miracle Of Forgiveness is the 19th image in The Messiah Collection (since 2003) and the 42nd in the Women of the Bible Collection (since 2003).  It is also the 154th image in the Studios' commercially available fine-art portfolio.

Based on 3 Nephi 17:11-13, 21-25, the image features a young mother presenting her infant child before the resurrected Messiah.  So They Brought Their Little Children is the 18th image in the Messiah Collection (since 2003) and the 11th image in the Book of Mormon Collection (since 2006).  It is also the 153rd image in the Studios' commercially available fine art portfolio.

Inspirations: 2012 art calendar and journal available

Al Young Studios' new art calendar for 2012 features 53 artist commentaries and 157 images (60 original artworks by Al Young, Elspeth Young, and Ashton Young; 55 sketches by Ashton, and 42 works by other artists).



The spiral-bound booklet serves as a personal journal or an appointment calendar.  Printed in full color on heavy paper.

The 2012 Calendar is entitled Inspirations because the artist commentaries feature inspiration and encouragement that continue to influence our work.  Much of the commentary applies not only to creativity (or problem solving) generally, but to the task of bringing a greater richness to daily life.
